Sam's focus is on providing quality, individualized representation for his clients and obtaining the best result for each client's needs. He is committed to making sure his clients know what is happening every step of the way.

Sam's areas of expertise include divorce, dissolutions of domestic partnerships, modifications, adoptions, custody, enforcement and protective orders. His background in criminal defense helps him advocate aggressively on behalf of his clients.

Sam has been practicing family law since 2007. He obtained his Juris Doctor from Wake Forest University School of Law and his bachelor's degree in history from the University of Michigan.

When he's not helping clients, Sam may be found on a mountain, climbing, hiking or backpacking. He enjoys reading literature and has a keen appreciation for Shakespeare. Ashland's Shakespeare Festival is an annual treat
